Frequently asked questions

Which primary grades is Kímik Shield designed for?

Kímik Shield is an educational activity for primary grades 5 and 6. It explores safety in chemical emergencies through digital challenges and cooperation. Each player contributes information so their team can complete the mission.

How long does the activity last?

The game lasts 45 minutes and fits into one lesson, allowing time to explain how it works and organise teams. It can therefore be included in your primary school’s learning programme.

How are players organised?

Pupils play in teams of three, with no limit on the number of teams. Each player receives different information and must share it with teammates to progress. Communication and cooperation are essential in this educational escape room.

Does each pupil need a computer?

Yes. Each pupil needs a computer with internet access throughout the game. All three team members must be able to communicate and share clues to make decisions together.

Is the activity free?

The self-guided option is free: teachers can run it using the instructions. If you would prefer a facilitated session at your school, Playduca offers this paid service in Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona.

Which languages is the game available in?

The game is available in Catalan and Spanish. Choose the language that suits your group to follow the instructions and learn safety measures through the adventure.

Can we explore cooperation with a physical game?

If you would prefer a tabletop escape box, take a look at Superheroes, a team challenge activity for primary grades 5 and 6. Each activity has its own format and materials.
